60-Day Agency Response

During the week of March 16-19, 2015, several members of the California State Auditor's Office visited our police department for the purpose of conducting an audit on the Annual Security Report, commonly referred to as the Clery Report. In light of the this recent audit, State Center Community College District is in the process of reviewing its policies to ensure all mandated Clery policies are in place throughout our District. We are currently in the process of drafting a policy which clearly describes the review process it will undertake to ensure it is reporting crime statistics consistently and accurately in our annual security reports. We have attached a draft copy of the policy for your department to review. We anticipate this particular policy to be finalized by January 11, 2015.
